favorite albums 2009

This year saw me coming off the rocking chair more than last year, where most of my new favorites were designed for porch-setting. I couldn't come up with 25 albums like I did last year, so there's a few less. In no particular order

I heard the same arguments when I first announced I loved the Dead Kennedys, so I guess I like bands with shitty singers who have good lyrics. I've heard of Yeasayer, but I can't say I've ever heard anything by them. I'll have to check them out because I do like Animal Collective, another band that I've heard people say is an acquired taste.
