A Good Start and a curious look

Exams came back and they were looking good. I don't think I could have done much better than I did. So I am all and all very pleased with myself. I am tired of studying abroad and will be glad to return to the US. There was a question by blackadder_fan and I did look into it to humor the idea, but she should know it isn't a serious consideration

Yay Donna in England! That would rock :D

But do consider, Oxbridge although being the stereotypical 'great school!' for people, isn't always the best place to go depending on what you want to study. There are plenty of other places which are just as good, if not better than those two. Aaaaaand if you don't go to those two then you won't run the risk of turning into the stereotypical Oxbridge snotty up themselves student! (No offence Weebs! *g* remember before you smack me that I said 'run the risk of' and 'stereotypical' :p *ducks*!)

But we want Domino home, for a very loooooooong time. England is too cold to do more than a quick visit and wave at blackadder_fan home in Taunton anyway. (looking forward to the River Tone ['punting?'] Cliff talked about) :P

I was there for a few months until some guy named andi pissed me off to the point I wanted to go to Germany and slap the dog shit out of him. No way you would remember me if you are her. I was living with Domino then. Anywho, if you are that darras, do you know what happened to a guy named 'Magician' I use to talk to him a lot in the chat room. Just wondering how he is getting on you know.

Mage is around now and then, he goes AWOL for long periods of time as he's wont to do while he has a girlfriend but last time he popped in he seemed like he was doing great!

I was Rogue on there. That asshole said some crap about Cliff, which wasn't a big deal, Cliff can be a butt head at times. He said some things about Domino, which I just ignored. Domino could kick his ass any way to Sunday if she had the mind to, so it was a laugh. But when he said something about Lit Bit, who had died in a car accident not far from her 16th Birthday, I wanted to stomp his dog dick into the ground.

Most English schools do MAs (or MScis for scinetific subjects) but Oxford and Cambridge, as you've said do MPhils or Mlitts.
I don't know as much about the masters at oxford, but if you want to know about the MPhil in International Relations at Cambridge drop me a line - I can give you some info about Oxford as a place if you don't have it as well as I have friends that did Undergrad there.

Welcome to the giggle, we are always looking for a better opinion than ours. Just be warned we have the brains of field mice. I am Donna, my brother is deadbard and my sister (or as close as I can have to one) is snakedruid Feel free to remind us how goofy we all are, we take it in good humor.

I am in Japan, finishing my undergrad bachelor is Physical Science. I have the credits, GPA, and the theme dissertation in comparative government that would be acceptable according to a few lecturers I spoke with over the Internet. A year in the states and I will have my masters in physical science, which is as high as I would need to go for my career path. So spending 1-4 years abroad, again, just isn't something I am seriously deliberating. Cost alone would keep me away. But thank you ever so kindly for your offer Sugar. Makes my heart warm to hear such a kind offer.

You really need to come to England. Oxford is a wonderful school, and four years, if it even takes you that long, will fly by. As to lodging; we can room together. The three of us could afford a home, four if Kevin will come as well. You simply must do this Donna.

There are schools just as good here Carmen. Also, you may want to think about looking into an American school anyway. Remember he is an American.
