Exams came back and they were looking good. I don't think I could have done much better than I did. So I am all and all very pleased with myself. I am tired of studying abroad and will be glad to return to the US. There was a question by blackadder_fan and I did look into it to humor the idea, but she should know it isn't a serious consideration ( Read more... )

Apologies for gate-crashing...
Most English schools do MAs (or MScis for scinetific subjects) but Oxford and Cambridge, as you've said do MPhils or Mlitts.
I don't know as much about the masters at oxford, but if you want to know about the MPhil in International Relations at Cambridge drop me a line - I can give you some info about Oxford as a place if you don't have it as well as I have friends that did Undergrad there.

Welcome to the giggle, we are always looking for a better opinion than ours. Just be warned we have the brains of field mice. I am Donna, my brother is deadbard and my sister (or as close as I can have to one) is snakedruid Feel free to remind us how goofy we all are, we take it in good humor.

I am in Japan, finishing my undergrad bachelor is Physical Science. I have the credits, GPA, and the theme dissertation in comparative government that would be acceptable according to a few lecturers I spoke with over the Internet. A year in the states and I will have my masters in physical science, which is as high as I would need to go for my career path. So spending 1-4 years abroad, again, just isn't something I am seriously deliberating. Cost alone would keep me away. But thank you ever so kindly for your offer Sugar. Makes my heart warm to hear such a kind offer.

You really need to come to England. Oxford is a wonderful school, and four years, if it even takes you that long, will fly by. As to lodging; we can room together. The three of us could afford a home, four if Kevin will come as well. You simply must do this Donna.

There are schools just as good here Carmen. Also, you may want to think about looking into an American school anyway. Remember he is an American.

There isn't anyone here with any mind, so you will at least add intelegence to a wacko bunch. So hiya jen.

Donna England is the last place a girl like you wants to be. Look how much difference there is between your way and illusive_shelle you just wouldn't fit in over there.
