memo to all and fucking sundry, I guess.

I'm having nightmares.  Don't all act so surprised at once.

Also, I get out of the hospital today.

Good to hear from you, Liz. Glad you're getting out. Sorry about the nightmares though.

I've been... indisposed. But I'm still around if you ever need someone to talk to.

It's been an indisposed kind of month. I'm all right. Nightmares are pretty standard fare, I think.

Or several months, but yes. All the same, talking won't hurt.

That's excellent, the release. I'm not surprised at the nightmares, between what little I heard about what you went through, and what the hospital put you through.

Feel better. I will send you food so no one in your house has to repaint anything cook tomorrow.

We accept gratefully. John wants us to have dinner with his girlfriend, and I think frankly he'd be embarassed by spaghetti again.

All right, no he wouldn't, but I would.

That sounds neat.

Any vegetable allergies or things people just hate? Or vegetarians to think about? I was thinking about maybe leg of lamb with roast new potatoes and steamed garlic spinach, but I don't want to go offending anyone.

Warren isn't eating meat, there were uh--hm. The otherworld is filled with blood. And unrecognizable body parts.

Also there's Lamby, so we--shit, Eiko, I feel extraordinarily bad telling you what not to cook.

I'm going to come give you a hug, and then maybe we can talk?

There's nothing to talk about, I'm fine. But I always want to see you.

He comes and does just that almost immediately, finding her in the hospital room and wrapping his arms around her. He doesn't speak at first, other than to say, "Hi." He'll hold her close for as long as they're both comfortable.

"Hello, you." Her eyes slide closed as she leans into him. This is better than sleep. "How's the house?"

I wish I knew how to help, but, umm, until I do, I'll just send you jam? I have lots of jam. Lots and lots of jam. Do you like gooseberry?

I am unfamiliar with it. But we're prooobably not going to turn down free food around here, unless it relates to Warren and meat.

Hestia made it, so it's very good. She's worried that I'm not eating enough, so she keeps sending me basket after basket of food. I'll pack in some bread to go with the jam.

Oh! Oh! And I made a deal with Norman, I can call him my Luuuuuurvemuffin if I make him a pan of muffins. So, umm, I've been doing a lot of baking.

You and Norman have a strange relationship, Hermes.

Maybe someday you should show me how to bake.
