I can't believe I had never heard the original I Will Always Love You sung by Dolly Parton. It is exquisite. The frailty of her voice, and her absolutely genuine delivery of emotion is staggeringly brave. It brings tears to my eyes every listen. Happy Go Lucky is a magical little film. I saw it once, and I cannot wait to see it again. Before viewing this film, I had (wrongly) assumed that the lead characters constant optimism would bother me.
