Nice canon portrayal of SessMom. Cool but not evil. Willing to test Kagome to determine her mettle. I liked Kagome's interaction with IY.

Thanks! I've never thought of her as evil. And I love all the instances I'm able to bring in Inuyasha.

I agree, SessMom is not evil (but she is very arrogant IMHO) and I like how you've written her in this story (not just this chapter). Especially the "Beauty Queen, First Lady, and Prison Matron" line.
