Summary: Kagome tries her hand at anger management.
“What… is this?” Sesshoumaru asked in distaste, glaring at the small object he was currently holding. The strange red and white creation was obviously her crude handiwork, and the makeshift thread face frowning at him offended him more than all of Naraku’s detachments combined.
“It’s a doll,” Kagome offered hesitantly. “You’re an ally now, and although some of us appreciate your help, it is kind of a hindrance to us when you and Inuyasha start fighting all the time.”
Sesshoumaru’s glare shifted to her.
“Not that you start all of the fights,” Kagome quickly added, raising her hands in a gesture of peace. “We know that Inuyasha can be… volatile at times.”
His gaze shifted back to the doll. “And this?” he asked, arching a brow.
“It’s something to help avoid violence. An outlet for your irritation, if you will. Instead of goading Inuyasha into fighting, you can ridicule or threaten this doll instead.”
“Hn,” he replied, and Kagome was momentarily filled with relief and hope… until a telltale hissing filled the air. Her eyes widened as her hard work melted into a puddle of bubbling goo.
“I shall require more outlets, Miko,” he replied gravely, belying his inner satisfaction.
