People often tag me for memes and I always start with the good intention of doing them...but then I don't. Nevertheless and all, to commerate my LiveJournal Anniversary (TODAY!) I made a meme of my own

EVERYONE NEEDS A TINHAT, BB!!

I had a real tinhat once. My sister made it for me one Sunday morning after church, while she was waiting for me to drag my lazy ass out of bed. I woke up and found it sitting on my desk. She decorated it with pink glitter glue and stickers, possibly of kittens. Whenever I was doing online fandom things, I put it on. Otherwise, my cardboard standy of the hobbit Pippin wore it on his head. He had pink heart earrings to match the tinhat.

True story. ;)

It was an epicly long meme, wasn't it? Not shortened by the fact that I talk too much. Had you noticed that about me? I planned on dividing it up over a few days, but I knew I would be wiped out after The Nephew's birthday party and I figured if I didn't do it all at once, I would be a lazy ass and just never finish it.

Happy LJ anniversary bb! I, for one, am very happy you have a lj. I've enjoyed the friendship we've developed over the last months.

That is one hell of a meme you've produced there! lol I think I might give some of it a whirl, spreading it out over several posts though. :)

THANK YOU! I am amused that my LJ anniversary is also The Nephew's birthday. I will never forget now!

I am so happy to have an LJ so we could meet, bb. You should know, when I talk about you to The BFF, I am all, "Well, my LJ BFF was saying something about Castiel..."

I typed up the meme and thought, "No one will read it if you leave it that long. Save it to a document and spread it out over three days," but then I was all, "Screw it. It's done, just push Post." It def needs to be spread out over a few days.

I just enjoyed looking back at things like how apparently the month I got this journal was also right during my hardcore Misha/Michael phase, lol.

Do you know when your LJ anniversary is? I'm just curious.

when I talk about you to The BFF, I am all, "Well, my LJ BFF well thank you sweetie, the idea you refer to me as your LJ BFF gives me a warm fuzzy. :)

Do you know when your LJ anniversary is? I thought it was in August, but looking at my profile it looks like it's in October.

Why, thank you, darling. I just can't believe it has been a whole year. It feels like it has been both that the time went by really fast...and that I feel like I have known you all forever. :)

Yeah, I know what you mean. Sometimes I wonder what the hell I did before LJ. Who did I squee with? Except the Roommate (now ex-roommate, I guess.) of course. :)

LJ has kind of eaten my life but what the hell did I used to do with my time before I had it? I honestly don't remember.

But lucky for me, my sister is a huge geeky fangirl. And The BFF and my other good friend (the one with the new baby) I actually met years ago in Lord of the Rings fandom and now they are my best girls in RL. So even before I came back to the internet, I was lucky to have people to squee with.

But none of them want to talk about Chris/Steve or Chad Michael Murray, and that is no good. ;)
