LJ Anniversary! Let's Do A Meme.
People often tag me for memes and I always start with the good intention of doing them...but then I don't. Nevertheless and all, to commerate my LiveJournal Anniversary (TODAY!) I made a meme of my own.
Technically my first post was on May 5th. When The BFF set up my LJ for me, she made a post welcoming me to the great big world of LiveJournal. But since I totally spaced that last week, well, I guess my LJ anniversary is technically the day that I made my first post anyways. It also happens to be THE NEPHEW'S BIRTHDAY! Which is why I am doing this meme all at once, instead of spacing it out over the weekend like I had originally planned. We are throwing him a party tomorrow. As in all things in our family, it has become a whole big thing. But he gets his dragon wading pool from me tomorrow, so that'll be a blast. (He's five now, you peoples. FIVE! How the hell did that happen?!)
Anyway, let us begin...
I'm just going to answer from my May 13th post, which was the first post that I made myself, but if you are interested - here is the May 5th post from The BFF welcoming me to LiveJournal-Land. Aren't you guys all glad that she didn't wait around for me to set one up for myself - (because I am lame and never would have) - but just went ahead and did it for me? I sure am glad.

First fic you ever recced: A Quotable 'verse by anyothergirl415
Recced on May 22, 2010 - It's M2, which is a pairing I still haven't gotten over. This is what I had to say about it - The Quotable 'verse in-particular. Misha has this like OCD sort of problem where he only talks in movie quotes, which sounds absolutely cracky, but is genius. The writer gets so much through Misha even with just quotes, the writing is brilliant, the emotion is astounding and the adoration Mike has for Misha is so amazing. Plus, bonus!J2, so what's not to love?.
Last fic you ever recced: The Rachel Nieland 'verse by liptonrm.
Recced on April 22, 2011 - It's about Bobby and his daughter and how we make our own family - (yep, still a sucker for that theme) - and has some awesome characterizations of all the Winchesters (and some wee!chesters too!) and you know what, I was blaming my viewing of "Deadwood" for my current huge-ass Bobby crush I got going on right now - but it may actually be the fault of this 'verse.

It's M2. /gasp shock/ I must have been hard into that phase right then. I posted it for liptonrm's birthday after she told me a story about someone using cough syrup in a water bong. It seemed like a Rosenbaum thing to do. Also, the Js were in it. I think I was a little angsty that week, so it came out less funny than intended, but I still love it. I know, you are all shocked that I love my own work.

Sam comes home sick and finds Dean taking a bubble bath. Do you need to know anything else about this story? Fine, Dean also is playing with toy army men. ;)

First fanvid you ever recced: Bad Romance is a Wincest vid of a fucked up nature. Bad relationship, excellent vid. That was on May 28, 2010 wherein I also recced two other SPN vids and a Star Trek vid. Also, um, a bunch of other crack. It was clearly the post of crack. And before that I recced Mark Sallings Tribute to his Glee Family - but IDK if you'd call that a Fanvid persay.
Last fanvid you ever recced: This ridiculous Mulder-is-so-cute vid. That was April 22, 2011 wherein I also recced a Castiel/Sherlock vid and a Mulder/Scully vid.
