I Will Rake Your Face.

May 08, 2011 22:58

This will be a post of random.

I have been playing "Simpsons Road Rage" a little bit lately. Sometimes Groundskeeper Willie says, "I will rake your face." The first time I heard it, I didn't think he had said rake and I was all, "What kind of a game is this?!" (Simpsons hardcore kink meme anyone?) Also, I am the kind of person who talks to the ( Read more... )

I curse like Jane when I'm playing video games (or, what my girlfriend and I call it, "veejo"). Especially when I was trying to defeat freaking Zeus in God of War III (I'm on the PS3). When you have the money you should get one, if only to play Red Dead Redemption. It's a Western, you can roam all over and do whatever you want, and it's a WESTERN. I beat that as well.

In two weeks I'm headed over to Gamestop to pick up my newest game, "LA Noire." If you have a chance, go look at some trailers for it. It is amazing.

Okay, Deadwood. YOU ARE BEHIND! I just finished episodes 1 and 2 of Season 2 today. Catch up! Oh, and make sure you listen to the commentary on the season finale with Tim O. and Ian McShane. McShane is hilarious. Cy Tolliver scares me more than Al, for sure. I keep waiting for him to explode and just beat Joanie the hell up. *shiver*

SPN. I care so much I might throw up THIS IS MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! This is also me waiting until Saturday for my girlfriend to get back from stupid Italy in order to watch the most recent ( ... )

Dude, you are way more hardcore into video games than me - I can tell by the kind of games you play. I play Sonic the Hedgehog on the XBOX and Klax (there is always time for Klax!) and Simpsons Road Rage and Punchout (on the original Nintendo) and Sonic Spinball and now, apparently, Plants Vs Zombies. The hardest like role playing/first person/whatever game I have played was The Hobbit. That's hardcore, right? ;) Sometimes I play The X-Men game my sister has, but only when I am doing like a one on one fight against another player. I tried the actual game and I just end up running around and I can't figure out what to do next. I also play Quidittch and Shrek with The Nephew sometimes ( ... )

Not really hardcore. I hate first-person shooters and playing online, which is basically everything that is popular right now. I like single-player adventures. That means hack-and-slash stuff like God of War, to the amazing puzzle, shooter, and adventure game Uncharted 2 (I'll be beating that this week), to Red Dead Redemption, which is known as a sandbox game because you don't have to follow a linear storyline. You can ride around on your horse and do whatever you want. It's amazing and was game of the year for 2010. It's only on PS3 and the new Xbox, which I guess is the 360? I dunno, I don;t have one ( ... )

Oh, see, the western game sounds good because I don't have to do things in order. I don't like games that require me to have a playing guide that i have to print out from the internet to understand what to do next. too complicated! But free play adventure does sound good!

We actually have the original Xbox, so we can't get any of the new games. We keep talking about upgrading, but we never do.

Deadwood must be done with captions! I agree.

I have seen the first two seasons of Torchwood. But I know about Ianto. I can't bring myself to watch it.

Here, The BFF uploaded her Castiel mix. Enjoy that!

Oh gods, Plants vs Zombies ate my house for weeks! I don't play video games but every time I tried to talk to some one who was on a computer, that's what they were doing. The Boy even bought the ipod version.

Supernatural - I've been trying to sort out in my head what the hell Castiel has been up to all season and all I can come up with is he's falling because he wants to belong? Idk, the words don't really cover the concept I've got in my head. It's all tied up with love and belonging and the fact that he wants Gods (his fathers) approval. It's like a more self-destructive version of Dean's season one personal journey arc.

Oh Hawaii 5-O you are truly the most awesome show. *sighs* It really did steal our hearts didn't it?

Seriously, I am actually getting kind of meh-blah about going on this trip this summer because it is costing me so much that I can't even afford to buy Plants vs Zombies full version and YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW BAD I NEED THIS GAME!! Everyone was talking about it and gone crazy and I was like, "Ha! Plants and Zombies, that's funny." I HAD NO IDEA! I've clearly gone insane now.

Do me a favor, because I can't decide when I go to buy it if I need the PC version or the Ipod version - ask The Boy which he likes better, would you? If he has played it on both devices. I think I would like to have it on my Ipod so I can play it in rooms other than my bedroom, but I almost feel like it would be harder on an Ipod. I just wonder if the format of the Ipod makes it harder to play than on a computer.

SPN - It's like a more self-destructive version of Dean's season one personal journey arc.He is doing what he thinks he is suppose to in his father's absence? Because that makes sense. I think honestly that we are getting that exact thing... ( ... )

re Plants vs Zombies - The Boy says the pc and ipod versions are identical and if you're on a budget and what not to go with the ipod version. (he's got an ipod touch though if that makes any difference (yeah, he gets spoiled by the family) also, I don't know if you have an xbox, but The Boy found the xbox version for $20 at Walmart over the weekend)

Yes. *nods head* everything you said about Castiel. I'm looking forward to the season finale. I really want to know how the hell this crap is going to be resolved.

now I want a teenage!Cas au Yes please! If you find anything throw a link my way if you could.

Also, did you see Misha is going to be on some program called Divine (or something like that)? I saw it on my twitter. There was a link, but it didn't give much info. It looks interesting, but I couldn't figure out when or what station or anything.

Okay, tell The Boy I said thank you! I went to look for the XBox version he mentioned. We only have an Xbox original, not the 360, which seems to be what it is available on. But while I was looking, I found I can get it for my Nintendo DS for $20, so that is what I shall go with. Now, when is July so I can buy it? ;)

I could not find anything with Castiel that quite fit what I wanted. Some teenage aus but not ones where he is trying to raise his siblings.

I guess I'll have to write it myself. (yeah, that'll happen, lol).

I did see Misha's new trailer! It has a kind of dark graphic novel feel to it. It is going to be in webisodes, so up on the internet somewhere. I have no idea when though.
