I went off on FB when I saw this article. And then copied my rant to Twitter. Because why not. Have yet to see how it goes over, other than getting a Like from my dad. ;) He likes all my original posts, even when it’s something we disagree on, because he says, ‘but you write your opinions so well

I absolutely agree with you. My family mainly lives on the west coast including my youngest and her son while I live on the west coast with my eldest and he son. It's easier and cheaper to keep in contact by texting, calling etc.
As long as nothing immoral or illegal is being done, why is it any of anyone's business anyway?

I often text my dad, and we're in the same house. He can't hear so good anymore.

But my phone's battery died, so now I need to get the battery replaced.
