Junior Supervisor was in charge, so she did what the emergency card told her to do and called maintenance. Who said, “Yeah, we’ll check that out.” With no mention of when they’d check that out. I hear you on the house. My dad really wanted to keep his step-dad & mom's house. (But his step-dad had already sold the place. The new owner was just letting Gpa Neil stay there until he died. It was a large lot, and the new owner had already divided up and sold the surrounding land, and was developing houses on it.)
And then he wanted to truck all their stuff down to Texas. I had to remind him that we didn't have room for it all down here.
We took some things. I'm like, did we take what they would have considered important, or did we take what they would have considered junk?
