I think she's awesome!

We're going to go drink wine and watch sassy ladies (and men!) get mostly naked to clever routines. Costumes count as they come off, right?

Also, there's a costume contest for the audience. I can't choose what to wear! Aaaaargh! (Maybe I'll just put a leather mini and some thigh high boots with my X-Men movie verse jacket. Lazy, but it'll look good, right?

A costume contest!! Why didn't you say so sooner? We could have worked on a Project together!!

So, is it like, a strip club? On Halloween? Do they really strip off costumes? Will one of them be a zombie? Will it be zombie strippers?

It's awesomely clever, sexy, and cheeky Halloween Burlesque: Boolesque! (Last month one lady did an adult Wednesday Addams number.)

It's just good, not quite clean, fun. With wine and friends!

I'm a little disappointed you went to a burlesque for Halloween and not a strip club where there would be zombie strippers - because Night Of The Zombie Strippers, yes, that's a real thing. Plus I like strippers and I like zombies. Just sayin'.

So what costume did you end up wearing?

She's uber creepy, and I suspect you'll have a blast with her.

So our Limbless Libby motion activated zombie was AWESOME for Halloween. Children were terrified! And my sister was hiding in the corner to activate her, but that meant she couldn't see out the window, just knew someone was coming when BFF would get up to go to the door. And omg, there were so many little ones too scared to come up to the door that I finally had to start calling out, No no this is a tiny one, Don't do it! LOL

She's awesome.

I subbed today and ended up talking about Halloween. I was co-teaching with this guy who was like if you're not in elementary school, I"m not giving you candy. I had to speak up and say, but dress up and have fun. I need to write up today at some point. I was a language arts teacher and went into a library and it all made me go, the hell a lot and your package is in the mail. Sadly it probably won't get there by Halloween but there are still some hopefully useful things for next year. Sorry to ramble, today gave me lots of thoughts and feels.

Now those teenagers who show up with no costume or with just a mask on that they put no thought or effort into - I give them like one piece of candy and that's it. Put more effort into it, don't just come for the free candy! But if you come to my house and you're like 40yrs old, I don't care as long as you have put some thought/effort into the costume. In fact, if you come later, after the little kids have mostly gone off, and you are older and dressed up in an excellent thought-out costume, I will likely you give you handfuls and handfuls. I mean, by that point we've got to get rid of the candy and damn, good on you for putting a little ( ... )

Look at it this way: The scarier you make it, the less candy you have to share! :-D

I like the way you think!! We reach a point in the Halloween evening where I notice the candy is running low and I'm like, "Okay, time to turn off the porch light, the rest is for me!" ;)

Oh my, isn't she awesome! You guys do Halloween up so very right. We put up the graveyard and spider web like previous years, nothing new or fancy this year.

Limbless Libby was a hit - or a terror - with the kids this Halloween! Sis had been so stressed out with stuff with mom and I just wanted to buy her something to get her in the Halloween spirit. She did get really into setting Libby off and making the kids scream, so I am glad I could help! lol

We did have a screaming-mat, that screeched when you stepped on it, but while we were still setting it up, Hiccup decided the wiring was a toy and chewed it up like five minutes after it came out of the box, chewed the wiring right in half. :(

I still get envious of how you stretch your spiderwebs though. Like when you stretch it between the gravestones and it always looks so perfect. Like how do you even do that?!

That's great that Libby went over so well! The mat sounds cool too. Bad Hiccup for deciding it was a chew toy before you even got to use it. The trauma of having pets I suppose.

lol, the spider web is easy, you just have to put work into it. I always make sure one side is secured really well and just start stretching and staking it down. One package of that stuff covers practically our whole yard
