I Am In Love...

…with a cat. Okay, let me start by saying that I think my sister’s biological clock is screaming at her that time is running out, but instead of being all, “I want to have a kid!”, she wants to adopt a French Bulldog puppy and dress it up in little outfits. This is actually right on target for her. But there are some issues with this idea. Like ( Read more... )

First: I hear you about the breeding thing! Ugh, humans, why would you do that to these poor animals? Like the cat breed, I forget it's name (Siamese? No, Persian, I think) that can't breathe properly cause its nose is all squashed up. Or Labs that will literally eat until they throw up and then keep eating cause they can't tell when they're full. Just... anger, I has it. So I'm with you on that!

Second: OMG, she's adorable! I just want to hug her and pet her a bit. I understand your dilemma, though, cause I'm experiencing something similar. I want to get a cat soooon (after we have a permanent place to live, obviously) and I can't decide if I want a kitten or adopt a shelter cat. Maybe both? Decisions! I hope you can work something out. It's hard to fall in love with an animal and then not be allowed to keep it. <3

Also, Kenzi and Parker are the best names! :D (as is Malicifent, omg!)

That's how I feel. I was so pissed at my uncle for getting a breed dog and he at least was doing it because he legit needed a hunting dog. What is our excuse for getting a poor bulldog that will have serious breathing issues and cost a fortune, when there is a perfectly good beagle named Betty that we could adopt! (I really liked Betty a lot!) I get really upset about the 'teacup' animals that people breed. Have you seen any of those? They are adorable as fuck but omg, the health issues with those things, they are in actual pain! It makes me sick.

I want to bury my face in Maleficent's belly, it looks so soft!

Isn't she?! I just want to bury my face in her soft, soft belly. She looks like she would smell good too. Ugh. I want her! I have made up mind not to get her, for Roo's sake and for the sake of my sister who still really wants a dog instead, but oh man, I am so heartbroken, like for real. I miss her like I actually had her.

Just keep thinking kittens. You get to have the next batch of kitties.
But I know what you mean. I found the perfect cat in a shelter, but someone got her before I could. And she was so friendly. I was so sad.
