Got a nice pic of a parent Sandhill Crane and a (tall) baby. There are 2 more parents here in the Savannas with 2 babies. The parents are grey and the babies are orange, but I was shooting against the light.

Oooookaaayyyy! We just spent an hour and a half sheltering in an inside hallway in the campground office with some very congenial people (and 5 dogs) waiting out a tornado watch hovering over St. Augustine (and many other places) in 2 states. Yesterday, we rode through torrential rain in S.C. Today, we were chased out of GA in the early morning because of a line of tornadoes that were advancing up the coast. Drove in the hellacious downpour and constant lightning till FL. Now we are camped, waiting for the rain which is coming!
