Hazel's horse, Gracie.

During the whole tragic Whirlwind episode, there were some silver linings. One was that I realized what truly great people Norma and her family are.  Second, we met a woman named Misty, who lives nearby and who is a 'hand' with horses. She's incredible.  And she gave Hazel one of her registered APHA horses, except we insisted on paying Misty for Gracie.  Gracie is huge, just turned six, and is now bred to Norma's white-paint mammoth jack (this involved my having to dig a hole, because short donkey had a hard time reaching tall mare).  And Norma wants a mule out of Red, so she's bred too, we think.  Anyway...
