Great post and great advice.

Although I have always been told in my breastfeeding class that if the baby is latching properly there shouldn't be any pain.

We were very lucky that Mina was a breastfeeding champ, and had no nipple confusion. I had to put her in daycare at like 5 weeks and she drank breastmilk from a bottle there. I had no problem with supply either. I hope for the same experience next time. And I, too, hope that more women would breastfeed even if only up to 6 mos-1yr.

Thanks Tin! Some say nga that there shouldn't be any pain but the midwives said Annika's latch was good naman. Yeah, I do hope most Pinays breastfeed longer, considering how expensive formula is!
