I have really mixed feelings about a return of old Doctors ( ... )

I subscribe to your pipe dream! I would love something that reflected the Time War. Moffat is quite fond of special effects so perhaps CGI or something using clips is not out of the question?

I'd just love to see some interactions with Ace and Eleven. I think that would be AWESOME.

Plus, I'd love to see how they include McGann in it. This would be his first 'official' cannon moment. Though I suppose what happened in Eleventh Hour could be considered but Live Action. I don't care if they're aged or not. I'm sure Moffat can think of some harebrained idea about all of that.

Another thought: if Moffat is going to steer the "Doctor Who?" thing back towards the Doctor's origins, I wonder if Carole Ann Ford could be talked into a return as an older Susan. That would be all kinds of lovely.

(Assuming, of course, that Susan survived the Time War. But given that at any particular moment the forecast on Time War continuity appears to be "partly wibbly with a 50% chance of Skaro," I doubt that would stand in Moff's way if he really wanted to write her in.)

This will probably not happen, but I would lovvvvve to see Eight in his new costume for the 50th. He's pretty much the only former Doctor I'd really love to see on screen. Since he's going to be on the cover of DWM this month, which must have been BBC approved, I am crossing my fingers that he makes it in. Of course, the audios have a smaller audience, so a lot of people don't know him which works against him, but it would be awesome...
