Can we just have a discussion of Bill and how awesome she is? Or am I the only one who thinks she's amazing? Her banter with the Doctor. Her questions. Her enthusiasm. I love Bill Potts so much.

I love her!!! From the beginning of the first episode, when Twelve talked about how she'd smile during his lectures, that melted my heart. And everything since has lived up to that. It's a wonderful combination of great acting and the writing doing her justice. I loved her wanting to see the future to see if it would be happy, and her constant questioning and testing of things, it's so relatable and she does it with so much charm.
Good to see the backstory about her mother has been kept alive, I hope it leads up to eventually meeting her. And I hope Heather comes back too. The idea that this might be her only series what with Chibnall era incoming makes me so sad, I hope she at least gets an arc that does her justice.

I so agree. I loved her first scene where she rambles, trying to get somewhere she never gets. That was adorable. I love everything about her. Every single moment. She's my favorite since Donna. And she may, somehow, end up surpassing Donna.

I love Bill. She is such a real person. Smart and plucky, but not bossy or competing. I have always thought that the companions should be our gateway to the Doctor and I can relate to bill as a regular person.

I love her toooooo. :) She is also my favourite since Donna and probably even better. She and the Twelfth Doctor are just a complete joy to watch - I'm so gutted we'll only get to see one series of their awesome partnership.

Me too! I could easily watch them for three series! I'm currently debating if Bill is my favourite ever or if she shares that post with Donna.

Bill is amaaaaazing. I love her, her reactions to everything, her personality, her relationship with the Doctor. She's real and relatable, I love that she questions things and while she's curious and adventurous, she still gets frightened and has such refreshingly real reactions to all the weird things they meet. The Doctor-Companion interactions are my favourite since Ten & Donna, and I'm considering if I love them even more. :-) Ooh, and I love her hair. That's a bit random but I adore it. :-D

I was surprised that you wondered if you're the only one who thinks she's amazing - I think every single time someone on my friends list posts anything about the new series, whatever else they say, they're heaping praise and adoration on Bill. So that gave me the impression everyone loved her. I wish she could stay for years!
