It's a little-known fact that every time the Doctor talks to himself he's actually talking to Garfield, with Garfield and his dialogue removed from the show in post production.
Prejudging a bit, aren't you? And also, judging from info I've read (all of it from reliable spoiler hounds) on this site called Gallifrey Base, with the exception of episode three and the info that the Paternoster Gang is going to show up in their own time in the first episode, the only stuff that's been confirmed is the directors, writers, and guest stars. The rest is rumors and speculation, not all of it from reliable sources.
Understood. *Nods* A rather odd mindset to have when reading info about the show's new season, in my view, but if you find you've been consistently disappointed in the past when a season finally airs after you've read stuff like this, I guess I can understand where you're coming from. *Nods* So fair enough :].
Wow, sausage-fest much?ed_rexJune 15 2014, 14:29:32 UTC
I too am in the low-expectation division (as those who remember my username will realize), but doesn't it seem kind of telling that there isn't a single female name showing up behind the camera as either writer or director?
You missed the director of the finale, Rachael Talahay, which is no substitute for having female writers, but's it's an improvement over S6 and S7 >_<.

Wanders off to ponder the gender dynamics and all-around goodness of Orphan Black for a while.
