Finally! I've been looking for that special for days. Thank You!

I'd say this is the best of BBCA's Doctor Who documentaries so far. They managed to stick to their topic and cover the important things (with the exception of Susan's departure, which I'm surprised failed to get a mention), and didn't skip around too much. The people they interviewed (with the exception of Neil Gaiman) have all been major players in Doctor Who, as opposed to previous themed ones where the guests seemed somewhat random.

On a side note, it amuses me how often David Tennant likes to bring up "twittering" for someone who clearly doesn't use it, and that nobody's filled him in on the fact that it's not the right verb.

It was made by Gillane Seaborne, same as Doctor Who Confidential, that's why it was so good :)
It's one of his pet things to make a joke out of, isn't it? I hadn't noticed that he gets the term wrong too, hee!

Thanks for sharing that. I didn't get to see it when it aired and I'm not at home to watch it on my DVR. I never thought the Doctor wasn't "nice" as much as he appeared to be like most of the Grandpa figures in popular television, well at least American television: they're grumpy and wise, and it takes a minute for them to accept the young people but of course they do come to accept, love, and protect the people in their lives. And David is right about how we saw the Doctor at the time. No at all "Doctor #One", but the One and only Doctor.
