Nu Who Meta: the Master's "redemption"
What do you make of the Master's saving the Doctor's life at the expense of his own in The End of Time? Is this an example of the Master's redemption as a character, finally putting aside his differences with the Tenth Doctor (particularly since the Master was the one who tried to free Gallifrey in the first place)? Or is this an example of a false redemption, and was the Master's action motivated more by anger and the desire for personal revenge against Rassilon?
