Goddammit, YES.

Which makes it all the more tragic that Sarah Jane won't be back, because I would have loved to have seen Lis and Lalla meet up as Sarah Jane and Romana.

If you've seen "Spearhead" you should see its sequel "Terror of the Autons". It has the Master in it, for one thing.

Three: Mind of Evil. Fantastic Three/Delgado!Master story.
Five: Castrovalva. Mathy story. Rather rambling and silly in places but I still like it
Six: The Mysterious Planet. Because the plot is UTTER CRACK and kind of ridiculous but it's crazy and silly and fun, and like a lot of Six stories, more than the sum of its many strange parts.

Why must the awesomeness of "The Invasion of Time" end so abruptly right before the last two episodes?

Seriously, for those first four episodes, Four was showing Six how it was done, in terms of being a terrifying Doctor.

The end of episode two, with Tom Baker cackling like Doctor Evil, was the stuff of nightmares.

ACK! Meant to say, "Four was showing "SEVEN ..."

I thought the same thing in my recent binge-watching! Totally a taste of things to come.

Also, weird shimmery aliens ftw.

The Vardans were so much less scary when they were finally revealed.

I stole most of these from Tumblr, so sorry if they're blurry.

It is my fanon that Sarah Jane Smith, Sylvia Mott and Harriet Jones all had Ian as their teacher, and that he was the handsome older man that all the little girls had crushes on at that school.

It is also my fanon that Ben and Polly Jackson were Alan Jackson's parents, and that Alan passed on their stories to his own daughter, Maria, about the sailor, the princess and the wizard with the disappearing cabinet.

It's also always been my personal canon that Ben and Polly are Alan's parents. but I never thought of Sarah Jane, Sylvia, and Harriet all having Ian as a teacher. Oh my god! That is perfect. I would love to see that fic.

Classic Doctors I love: Eight, Five, Three, Four, Seven (haven't seen enough of Two yet to judge and Six is growing on me but not there yet).

Classic Companions (including Big Finish because they are too awesome not to be included!): Charley, Nyssa, Sarah Jane, The Brigadier, Ace, Jo, Romana I, Romana II, Harry, Erimem, Jamie, Benton.

Favorite serials: One - The Aztecs; Two - The Invasion; Three - Spearhead from Space, The Curse of Peladon, ANYTHING WITH SARAH JANE; Four - Robot, Genesis of the Daleks, The Pirate Planet, City of Death; Five - The Visitation, Earthshock, Black Orchid, (audios) The Eye of the Scorpion, Spare Parts, Creatures of Beauty, Circular Time, (novels) Empire of Death; Six (audios) - Brotherhood of the Daleks; Seven - Remembrance of the Daleks, The Curse of Fenric; Eight (audios) - Storm Warning, Living Legend, The Chimes at Midnight, Seasons of Fear, Neverland, Zagreus, The Girl Who Never Was.

There's still a lot I have left to see/hear/read but these are my favorites so far. :-)

I'm an audio fan too! I'm kinda sad Lucie's not more popular. She became one of my all time favorite companions and I thought she worked wonderfully with Eight.

I've only seen a few Classic serials, but I want to see more. I've seen all of Ace's run, and she's awesome. Nitro-9 anyone?

My favorite Classic Doctor is Three. I've only seen Spearhead from Space and pieces of Terror of the Autons, and I desperately want to see more. Plus, Sarah Jane!

I have a strange fondness for the TV movie. Eight and Grace are wonderful. (No desire to listen to the audios, though.)

I haven't seen any Five or Six, though. I'd like to remedy that someday.

They actually reunited Paul McGann and Daphne Ashbrook in one of the recent audios, if that makes any difference. ;-) She doesn't play Grace, though--the way the rights work with the TV movie, the character was owned by FOX and they wouldn't release her for Big Finish to use. :-\

I'm not surprised, given that it took until February(?) for us to legally get the TVM.

It doesn't tempt me, though. I don't have the money, and I'm not really interested in the plots. Plus, I only consider what happens on TV canon, so… Now, if Grace herself was back, that might be different. :)

BTW, I love your icon.
