As was done for the Brig, Nicholas Courtney, here's a small picspam tribute to Elisabeth Sladen, our Sarah Jane. Thanks once again to bardingtide for heading up the memorial post last night, when the rest of us were in no fit state. <3

She was a beautiful, gentle and kind person, and this was a great and tragic loss. Goodbye, our Sarah Jane.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. May I also say that the third pic. down, she and I share the same hair cut... though Sarah Jane rocks it so much better than me. :)

She wasn't gorgeous or glamorous. I mean in our conventional idea of 'pretty'. It was her personality and daring that made her beautiful in my mind. She was a strongly-willed woman both on screen and off. Never meek or mild she was ready for any adventure. Her daring made her watchable. You always looked for her reaction first and I think she's one of the few Assistants/Companions that could effectively upstage a Doctor. ;)

In case anyone missed the addition to the tv schedules: CBBC Saturday 6.45pm - My Sarah Jane: A Tribute to Elisabeth Sladen.

I think I've finally stopped bursting into tears, but it still hurts, knowing she's gone.
