The BBC Four documentary that's been aired a couple of times is much more fascinating than the movie that got made of Isherwood's book; I'm waiting to see what this look at that doomed world is going to be like.

Really hoping they do it justice,

It seems to be that, if it weren't a Queer film; with a hot product like Matt Smith in a starring role such a project would have been aired several times by now.

Probably true... but I have only a little hesitation in saying if it were up to the American industry it probably wouldn't be made at all.
