TARDIS, oh TARDIS... How can you not love her? She's big, she's blue and she's completely obtrusive in any time zone aside from the sixties but she's awesome anyway. And she's definitely a she - ships have to be a she! And she takes such good care of the Doctor (with the occasional hiccup), I can't believe she'd be male. (No offence to any nurturing men out there, but I've yet to meet one who did the job better than the women in my life. >.>)

Doctor/TARDIS trumps all else for length! They've both changed, they've lost parts (oh, Zero room, come baaaack!) but they're still together. <3 On the other hand, I think she doesn't mind sharing. XD She's never booted anyone else out of her, has she?

NEVER. If the Doctor's TARDIS ever changed shape, I think it'd be a sad day, really. It's too iconic now. I mean, show that picture to a Brit of any age and they'll go "TARDIS" or "Doctor Who". In a lot of other countries too! IT WAS PART OF A EUREKA QUOTE, MAN! (Although that episode was so tribute-y... <3) Plus she's pretty! Who would deny us ( ... )

Y'know, I'm honestly staring at this comment box thinking, "I don't even know where to begin with this." So I think I'll just leave this icon here to sum up for me.

I made myself go upload new TARDIS userpic before commenting.

And let me just say.
The Tardis IS bigger on the inside.
Why wouldn't the Doctor love it?
xD

One of my favouritest scenes in all of Doctor Who is Martha going to visit the TARDIS while the Doctor's human, and saying "Hello" to her. And while she mocks herself for it, I truly believe that she knew that the TARDIS is alive and that Martha and the TARDIS looked after each other to the best of their abilities while the Doctor was John Smith - after all, Ten's 'video' instructions clearly say he's going to put the TARDIS on emergency power only, so Martha can forget her - yet she clearly doesn't do that. I like to imagine Martha visited the TARDIS at least once a week for their mutual comfort and remembrance of the Doctor.

I think Martha found the TARDIS very comforting because it reminded her that she was more than an Edwardian maid ignored by an English schoolmaster, she was Martha Jones, companion to the Doctor, keeping him safe. And I think the TARDIS was glad to be visited.
