What is this? I don't even. I heard about them cutting all kinds of shows (especially Torchwood), but if you're not going to show a programme as it was meant to be broadcast, why bother?
From what I understand, BBC America has stated that they will run for the premiere broadcast the episodes "uncut". Subsequent broadcasts of the episodes will be cut for time issues. I think they do it so that it will fit better into their time schedules and the general nature of American television with commercials and things.
As another poster has said, I watched the premiere last night and it was on there. Soo, not sure what happened there for them.
Did they watch the premiere or did they watch it when it re-aired later in the night? If they watched it when it re-aired, perhaps it was cut down to one hour rather than the one hour and some minutes the premiere was.
Yeah, that's what it sounds like. Still sucks but it's not as bad -- I guess they do bill the premiere as having 'limited commercial interruptions' -- but what a bummer for those without DVR, haha.
Um...no. It's possible they trimmed it, I suppose, though I don't think so, or that they'll cut it later in order to reshow the episode in a smaller time slot, but the premier definitely had it in.
