Willow, I went ahead and created the tag '.speculation saturday' since it's an official comm thing now? And Speculation Saturday just rolls off the tongue so nicely ... change at your will. :)

Yeah, I saw the crack and went OMG! Wot?! But it's obviously following the Doctor and/or Amy through time and space.

The Doctor has always known so much about so many things that it just made sense. Plus I think this actually ties in with classic episodes like Ark in Space and a few others -- I'm kind of rusty on that stuff, but I'm pretty sure of it.

Maybe they didn't have a designation for "Runaway Bride"? Or yeah, the future's in flux. She's currently engaged to be married but on the run and it's still up in the air as to whether she'll get back in time. OR marry Rory. Or do something else entirely.

About Amy's marital status: I think because she's between single & married and her future is still in flux. After all, traveling with the doctor must change your time line quite a bit. The computer probably has records of all people that ever lived in the UK and their birth date so it can calculate their age at the present time. Probably gets access to the file of the person through a fingerprint of said person or a scan of her face/dna/...

I'm thinking that's pretty much the theory I'm subscribing to at the moment ...

This has been bothering me, has anyone noticed if Amy's wearing an engagement ring? I can't tell and it's not like they often show a close up of her hands (LOL).

I know I haven't noticed one, I keep meaning to look and everytime I remember I never get a clear shot of her hand. I will feel really thick if it has been there right in front of me. :D

Probably not unless she wears it to bed... would be rather irritating, moreso than a wedding band, which some people never do take off.

Ah yes, you're probably right! I hate wearing jewellry to sleep, I wouldn't wear an engagement ring.

Well I was thinking about the Crack and also reading commments on the watch post for The Beast Below. And a few were talking about Magpie Electrics and sea_thoughts had said that hopefully the Wire isn't back. Well what if the Wire had something to do with the Crack? Who knows though, I suppose we will find out eventually.

I think it's just Magpie Electrics and not the Wire. I hope. I don't really want to revisit Maureen Lipman and all that shiz :/
