Donna is so amazing, because she realizes that the Doctor really did love Rose. I suppose Martha realized it too, but Donna was a true friend to the Doctor, so she could see that he really hurt over Rose. :) Yay Donna!

I don't think Martha truly understood until she heard him talking to Jack about Rose. I think once she realized that they had been split up and neither of them choose to leave the other it clicked. Like a Oooooh he would still be with her and never taken me along, yeah it's never going to happen. Donna though, she got it right away!

Wellll the Doctor also intentionally misled Martha about where Rose was/what had happened to Rose, whereas in TRB he was a bit too caught up in it and too fresh from it to lie to Donna as effectively.

I've been indulging myself on my dvds.....since y'all were talking about Love Don't Roam I've watched the Runaway Bride a couple of times. What amazes me is that it takes place literally SECONDS after he last spoke to Rose.... he's wiping the tears from his face and then Donna appears -- and Rose's shirt is still hanging over the railing. I love his facial expressions when Donna is goading him at first. If looks could kill! and the way he swipes that shirt and it is GONE into the transdimensional pockets!!! Then I love how quickly Donna catches on to the depth of what Rose meant to him. then at the reception when he flashes back to Rose. Wow. Are there really human beings who don't ship Doctor/Rose? are they BLIND ( ... )

I loved that scene with Rose's shirt, and when I was watching the audio commentary for the Runaway Bride. I found out that a part was cut where the Doctor threw Rose's shirt out the TARDIS doors. I was like "I'm so glad y'all didn't do that, because now he's keeping it in his pockets!" I'm glad I wasn't the only one to think that he now has it in his pocket. :)

First time posting here, but I made the mistake of going on the Rose Tyler tag on Tumblr today. All the hate...let's just say it depresses me.

So I ran here and saw Ten squeeing over Rose and it made me happy again. Thus I've made the decision to stay here where everything is sparkles and sunshine and Doctor/Rose.

*wraps self in Doctor/Rose love and glares silently at Tumblr from afar*

Honestly, I know Rose has her fair share of detractors, but what I don't understand is why they feel the need tag their hate. They have to know that the people who check those tags are the fans, so it seems to me that if they bother to tag it they're just looking to piss people off.

Sadly, in my case, it worked.
