i think that the idea of the doctor traveling with his gf and his bff is what really made that scene for me tbh( and david's adorable smile). i just about exploded from the excitement of having donna and rose in the tardis with the doctor....and then it all went downhill from there ;_;

Meanwhile, Donna is all, "EXCUSE YOU, BUT ROSE IS COMING BACK. THIS IS AWESOME Y/Y?"

So Ten can be like, "I'M SO GLAD YOU MENTION THAT DONNA. ROSE! SQUEEEEEE!"

One of the many, many, many reasons I loved Donna was that she was truly one of the Doctor's best friends and I loved that in the end, it was always her humanity that made the Doctor a little more human as well. She also knew exactly how to kick the Doctor back into the moment whether it was getting him to realize that just saving one family would mean something or reminding him that even though the Universes are falling quicker than the last surviving bimbo in a horror movie wearing high heels fleeing for her life, that there was the possibility of seeing the woman he loved again.

Donna Noble, you are and always shall be made entirely of awesome.
