Yep. I'm introducing the mover and shaker of baddie mc evilness. Imamiah, the fallen angel of voyages.

I once said that I wanted Mao to be the bigger antagonist of the story, but that hit a couple of problems. For one, he'd have to be responsible for a huge amount of bad stuff that happened to her throughout these ( Read more... )

King of Dust seems pretty ineffectual at best. I'd guess if he tried to go all out everybody'd be dead, but that's no fun.

Anyway, Imamiah was nothing but hate-inducing when I started reading the new chapter. I think you're walking a thin line here; she's inspiring dislike in me in a way not unlike X-pac heat. However, the way you handled it once she left was definitely for the best and edged her back from the edge of the pit, so to speak...especially Konoka's last line.

If you really crank up the evil she can easily become one of the worst complete monsters I've ever seen in fanfiction, but you'll have to handle her carefully no matter what you do. Good luck!

p.s.: hurry up with the next chapter :p

Ol' Kingy's not in a good position to really wreak havoc like DDD's original story lets him do. He had a shot during Prinny K's Empty Gehenna War 1 1/2 years ago, but Prinny K busted him.

As far as Imamiah goes, she did need to walk that fine line between nasty and still not completely hate-able, because well, defining moment of the bad guy is establishing that they are the bad guy. Considering Konoka's dealt with so many people with good intentions and crazy executions, somebody had to be cruel to get her angry.

However, you might see her in a new light come next chapter. Keyword being might. Background is fun, especially when she meets a few other characters.
