My old Sci Fi story
I finished reading what I wrote a year and a half ago, and I really like it, but the weird thing is that I seem to be missing a few chapters. The story wasn't finished, but I swear I wrote more than I have. Maybe I lost the most current version somewhere along the way? That bites, but oh well. Getting the itch
It's been a while since I did any novel work. I've been working on a computer game and writing some short stuff, but I'm getting the urge to work on my sci fi story again. Hmm. I'll have to load it on my phone so I can reread it when I'm traveling tomorrow. I hope what I wrote before isn't terrible. -
Robopocalypse
It's work trips like these that make me want write a story where the robots go haywire, and the intrepid engineer must go in and beat the @#$% out of them.
Too bad it's been done. -
X-files
I spent most of the morning looking at a crashed robot. I couldn't figure out what actually happened. I was in accident recreation mode, but no story fit the facts. It was very X-files. I sent in pictures, and all the top minds at my company gathered to try to figure it out. Took us a while, but we finally came up with a scenario that explained it ( Read more... ) -
No Monsters
I'm in the airport reading Street Magic on my way to Texas to fix a naughty robot. The story is good, but I'm glad the Joint Novel doesn't have monsters. Just very nasty people and ghost energy. I find it refreshing. -
Workin' for a livin'
I'm on call this week, and it just so happens that our customers started 24/7 operations at one location. Oh joy. 5:30 AM call from someone on the East Coast having robot trouble. Plot Snarls
I managed to work through my current plot snarl, so now I'm ready to get back to composing. 'tis a wonderful feeling.
