Well, be of good cheer; they've closed the inpatient side. It's now the only freestanding ED in Massachusetts; admissions go to Cambridge or the Whidden. Also, I gather the Whidden is pretty much All New; certainly the ED is new. Technically I can work there, as well. Not lining up for it, gotta say...
Well, I could afford a Martha's Vineyard trip yearly, when I went camping with the Family Tree folks. It's awesome -- a big camping/biking trip, everyone helps with meals (you get assigned to a crew, so you end up working on 1 or 2 meals and the rest of the time is all yours), everyone brings their bikes and they bring 1 or 2 vehicles over with supplies.
