"Ah, being on leave is truly wonderful." Gene sighed contentedly and took a sip of his drink.

"You said it, Doc." Nixon grinned.

The chime of the bell hung above the door startled them for a moment.

"Mind if I join you two?" Speirs smiled and sat down beside the two men.

"Sure."

Ron looked around, then nodded at the bartender to order his drink. Fishing the pack of smokes out of his pocket, he put one between his lips, before he offered the pack to the men beside him. "Care for a cigarette?" he muttered, looking at them.

Nixon raised his eyebrow and smirked "Yeah, I'll take one. Just don't shoot me Speirs." He took one of the cigarettes, put it between his lips and lit it.

Speirs made a face. "No need to worry, Nixon." He lit his cigarette too and draged on it. "I don't shoot every drunken soldier I see... Despite, what you might hear." He grinned and took a sip of his beer.

"Sure, s'long as you don' shoot me." Roe took a cigarette and placed it between his lips.
