[Beyond's pleased expression doesn't even falter as he chuckles at the poor response. This hall is rather lengthy for a trailer. Admittedly, it was late evening, but he is almost certain it had been the correct entrance. Or rather, it is considering L's presence; but the surroundings... odd. Very bright.]
I see. Does this have to do with the next show, Lawli?
[Misa comes running to see who's calling out her favorite nickname for L. She skids to a stop in front of him and stares. At first glance, he looks rather like L. At second glance, he really doesn't.]
[Beyond blinks at the blonde. And his first thoughts? Whore. He scowls faintly. Of course Lawli would need this sometimes; he's a male. But... but. ngh.]
Where is L?
[Nobody but he knows his true name. The paranoid ringleader prefers to go by that single letter. And despite it being his true first name, most assume it's an alias for whatever reason. Lawli leads them to believe so, he supposes.]
[Beyond scowls and grabs her wrist, heading for the nearest door. While he understands, Lawli isn't going to get away with it without exchanging something in return; he gets a key to this... trailer. Period. Or no more prositutes. Though that likely isn't his choice- still.]
[L slipped out the door (one marked distinctly with an X) and paused to close it, possibly looking every bit as haggard and drained as he felt. His mind was dark and clouded with turmoil. So uncharacteristically consumed was he with his inner conflict that he hadn't even taken notice of his surroundings.
[Needless to say, it showed how frayed his nerves were when his body gave a start at the sound of the lilting voice possessed, no doubt (even if only judging by the nickname), by the man...whom he'd just left to rot in agony. L turned sharply to the sound, his face not quite the unreadable mask it should be, displaying the stress and anger facing Beyond Birthday tended to elicit, increased exponentially by...the circumstances.
[Looking around, L spotted the form of...yet another Beyond Birthday, to his left a ways down the hall. The man had called his name... Had he spotted him, then...? No, L did not want to deal with this right now (or ever)... But it was too late to walk away, wasn't it

[Not a moment later, Beyond spots said man several feet away, just entering the hallway as well... which is odd. How many bloody rooms are there? Pff, and he thought Lawli was spoiled before; just look at the size of this place. Would it even fit on the back roads

[Due to L's current preoccupation with the situation he had just left, his first reaction to B's words were that of alarm. The door was open? Had this B watched what he had-- No... No, L distinctly remembered the bedroom door was closed. And certainly, the closet door, at least, had been shut the entire time.
[Then what did this one mean? ...Could he be a new arrival, mistaking the situation for something else? L hadn't the patience or interest at the moment to figure it out.]
Whatever you've done and whoever you think I am to you, Backup, know that you do not want to cross me. [His voice was unusually rough, eyes flickering dangerously, following B's movements.] Do not take another step.

(ooc; meh', he needs a reason to be pissy. *snickers* Yes, torture is fun. This B's not bitter, yet. I imagine this will change as he meets these L's more nad more. His world's L was a ringleader. *dies* So he had no way to really get away properly. *cracks up* Poor Circus-verse!L.]
