[Mello is still nine years old, and is dragging a similarly small Matt along the hallway by the hand. He stops when he sees L, his eyes wide. He may or may not hold onto Matt's hand tighter.]

Why're you in disguise?

[ooc: Hiya! First of all, I <3 Mirrormask. Second, logical_red and Mello are inseparable as kids, so Matt's going to reply to this tag in a bit, and then we can rotate? Hope that's all right!]

[Matt, still a too-tall eight-year-old, narrows his eyes at Mello's slightly tightened hand on his own. Then he looks up and sees L, blinking.]

Maybe he's a clown... [he whispers. He doesn't like clowns.]

[[ooc: Mello!mun's gonna prob'ly smack me for this, but I've never seen Mirrormask. XD But I'm good with going with the flow.]]

L blinked a moment and tilted his head at the new children without...without masks...what the hell?? Were they from Misa's world?
"I'm not in disguise...why aren't you wearing masks?" he asked "Didn't your guys mums ever tell you to always wear masks when your in front of people?"
He slowly reached down and picked up his juggling balls and eyes the children. He then looked at Matt.
"Hah I'm not a clown I'm a very important person. I have a tower, I'm not a lowly clown I'm a juggler and a fine one at that."

[down_to_nowhere]

I think he's a crazy person, [Mello whispers back to Matt.]

Did you come from the circus?

Mello found herself facing an all too familiar face. She had not yet come across an L and it was still odd to see one now when in her world he was dead.

"L?"

L looked at Mello this one didn't have a mask either...how strange. Maybe the children were telling the truth and they were in a mansion.
"I am called that but I like to go by VaLentine. What's your name?"
He played with his juggling balls a moment before one slipped and fell to the ground. He sighed and picked it up.

[canhazchocolate]

"Uhhhh... Mello..."

Clearly this L was quite different then the one Mello herself had known.

"That's a strange name.It's the same one that little blond boy that didn't wear a mask called himself as well."
he tilts his head to the sideand he started juggling.
"Your all so very strange.First you don't wear masks now your all using strange names and all using the same one."

[misamisal]

::One of the balls comes to a stop near Misa's feet. Picking it up, she makes her way to the man and extends the item out to him::
Here you go. Is everything alright? I like your mask...
::she smiles, tilting her head slightly. Why does that mask look so familier?::
You look...familier. What is the mask from?

((ooc:I LOOOOOOVE MIRROR MASK!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH and therefore, Misa does, too. XD))

He nods slightly and takes it from her.
"Misa...what are you doing here?" he almost sounded slightly concerned. "Thank you."
He started juggling again and smiled slightly.
"My mum bought it for me when I was young." he replied "I should be I'm VaLentine...I helped you find the mirrormask."
(ooc:Yay for mirrormask fans :D.)

Oh, I'm sorry. I'm probably not the Misa you know. You see, this place brings people from all different worlds so there are doubles of people.

::the juggling enraptures her and she watches un awe::
Oh, how amazing! You know, juggling was something I could never really do. I always ended up dropping them.

VaLentine?
::she stares at him a moment, then her eyes go wide and she gasps softly::
No way! That's- in my world, there's a movie called Mirror Mask that tells the story. I've only seen it once, but it was immediately one of my favorites!
::she excited now, her eyes wide and sparkly, completely star struck::
Oh my goodness, it's amazing to meet you!

"...I see." VaLentine gets it since his own Misa was a double of the evil princess in his world.
"Yes...that's what I'm called." he smiles slightly but at the whole movie statement he tilts his head and looks at her.
"A...movie?" his smile widens as he notices how excited this Misa was to see him.He stops juggling.
"It's nice to meet you as well Misa."

Ritsuka had shortcake on a plate in one hand when the ball hit the side of her foot. She looked down at it then towards where it rolled from. A new L? She picked the ball up and walked over to L to return it.

"New here? I'm Ritsuka."

ooc: Herro! I love mirrormask! Glad you made this character!

vaLentine looked at the other L a moment his mouth opened slightly.This girl looked kind of like him...without a mask though.
"...Yes."
Ritsuka won't be able to notice but VaLentine is eyeing her cake. He takes the ball from her and smiles slightly "I'm VaLentine."

Ritsuka looks at her cake for a second and hands it to the new L. She can always get another one. "This is an multidimensional world. There are different variations of yourself, myself, everyone, and everything you meet here. There are doors around here they have X's on them please stay away from them they're dangerous. There are some doors that will take you to unknown and harmless spots in the place. Bedrooms can be found on the second floor and can accommodate to your needs. The door with a plus sign on it is the infirmary for medical attention. If you are in no hurry to get back then make yourself at home. Mansion please give me another cake." She holds a hand out in the air and another shortcake appears in it.

"You can also ask the mansion anything except to go home. Oh and beware of the lady with a clipboard... she's bad news."

He takes the cake and smiles happily then listens quietly to Ritsuka a moment before nodding slightly.
"I understand, thanks for explaining this place to me." he says.
