[Mello said he'd show him the way to the library, so he could pick up reading a new series. But the fucker moves too fast; he disappeared 'round the corner, and Matt thinks that this is the room he went into.
The library's completely forgotten though - as are the last ten years. As soon as the door clicks shut behind him, Matt's a too-tall-for-his-age gangly eight-year-old. His shirt is white and baggy with long sleeves and light purple stripes, and his blue jeans are replaced with a pair of khaki cargo shorts. He's barefoot, and his goggles are shoved up onto his head, ruffling his red hair.
Matt! [Even if he knew where they were, Mello would know beyond the shadow of a doubt that this is his Matt. He stomps over, as well as anyone can stomp with no shoes, and puts his hands on his hips.]

[He's clearly already mentally tried and convicted Near on this charge.]
[He watches Mello with mild amusement and skepticism.]
Why would someone mess with your room? [He's still trying to work out the kinks in his accent, so it comes out sounding a bit thick with French, and the way Mello curses makes him turn a little red in the cheeks, for some reason.]
Malik felt like checking out the library again, maybe if he went alone he really would find something--though he could smell Mello nearby along with another Matt, and wondered if his plan was going to be foiled.
Opening the door, he suddenly shrinks down to about 5-years-old. Memories repressed for the time being, and new to Whammy. His clothes look like they come from some designer store. Ruffled collar, knee-high socks. He looks like he walked out of a 1800's portrait.
He looks around, frightened, and hides under the nearest table.
Malik stares wide eyed at Mello, scooting away, he looks around him confused, "Mama!" he yelps out in French towards the door he came in from.
( ooc: I don't actually know more than a few French words, though, so everything will be in English and I'll just say it's French~ k? :3 ~IMAGINATION~ )
It didn't really matter what he was looking for when he entered the room, because Matt immediately forgot it. Instantly, he was replaced by his seven year old self. As a child, he was dressed in an oversized dirty gray striped shirt, ragged jeans, and a redbaseball cap with his goggles on it. Instead of the hunting rifle, he was holding a BB gun...and looked rather confused. "....Roger? Mello?"
Mello finds herself in a new room. Oddly enough everything looks slightly smaller. A moment later Mello realizes that she has merely grown bigger. Looking at her grown self, she can only place her age at around 29. She is also now aware that her clothes are a bit to small on her.
