Misa walked down the steps of the Sakura TV studio. She swung her brief-case slightly by her side, and when she got to out the door the place suddenly changed before her eyes. "What?..." She wondered aloud. She was in a large hallway. This wasn't outside. This wasn't the outside of the Sakura TV studio. Where was she? She stopped dead in her tracks

*L, carrying a small white ceramic bowl of sugared strawberries, pauses in the hall on his way back to his room.*

I haven't seen any of Rem's analogues around here in a while. You are a new arrival?

*Her appearance is distinctive enough from that of the other Misas that he's sure he would have noticed her before.*

[OOC: Hihi! This L doesn't really look like movie!L; he looks more like a real-person version of the anime/manga L, if that makes sense. But it might not matter, since I think your Misa may not have met movie!L at this point anyway.]

Misa says nothing at first. But maybe he can help her out. "Ahh yes. I'm Amane Misa." Maybe he was one of her fans?

*L peers at her, then murmurs,*

*At a more normal volume, he continues,*

Please call me Ryuuzaki.

*He keeps her in his peripheral vision, but for the moment, his attention turns to the bowl of strawberries. After a moment of searching, he plucks out an especially ripe specimen, then begins to raise it to his mouth.*

Has anyone explained this place to you yet?

Misa stands there and blinks. Surely he's joking. Surley this is just some Sakura TV prank they pulled on Misa-Misa. "A interdenominational mansion?..." She repeats slowly.

*Mel's coming from the library with a heavy, antique-looking book, and isn't certain she recognizes the girl until she hears the name 'Rem.'*

Misa. You're a new one.

She waves "Hello!"
