*He steps through the door, and for a moment, until he sees some of the other people out on the roof, he thinks he's been sent home: this is undeniably the roof of the building he'd commissioned months ago. He had only recently moved the investigation into it when he was pulled away to the Mansion. He is surprised at the flash of mixed emotions he feels, but it is gone as quickly as it arrived.*

*He has always enjoyed the rain on his face, in his hair, so, far above Tokyo and very far away from it, he walks out and lifts his face to the sky.*

*looks over at him as he approaches*

oh. ryuuzaki. hey.

*soaked emo kid is soaked at this point*

*When he speaks, after a brief pause, it sounds reflective.*

It's just like it, isn't it? Strange.

But then... you haven't been up here yet, have you... unless... did you go up here when you were sent back?

*He tilts his face, catching the streaming rain. He isn't smiling, exactly, but the expression on his face is more peaceful than blank.*

*stares at the ground, hands in his pockets* no, i haven't. *squints out at the skyline* is this your building? the investigation headquarters?

*sigh* i ... didn't really leave the building when i got sent back. mostly stayed in my room ... too miserable to do much else. also, avoiding misa. *scrunches up his face a little* she was more annoying than i remembered.

A door with EXIT on it? Could this be for real? Sayu nervously opens the door and steps...outside into a downpour. Disappointment might have been her emotion at yet another room instead of a way out of the mansion, but experiencing weather is enough of a distraction to make her look up with a smile on her face.

Rain...oh cool!

*looks over at her with a tiny smile*

hey, sayu. *waves* it's ... different, anyway, right?

It makes things feel almost normal again...

normal. it's a nice change. this place is ... nuts, sometimes.

[the exit sign, naturally, catches Light's attention. he halts, frowning at it, considering - it could easily be some kind of perverse trick or trap of the mansion's. then, finally, he sighs and shrugs and opens the door, stepping inside, knowing that it would bug him the whole day if he didn't.

when the rain hits him, he blinks, peering out through it to make out his surroundings. after a few moments, standing there to get his bearings - and wait to see if there are going to be any side-effects - he starts making his way towards the edge of the sky-scraper. by the time he reaches it, his T-shirt is clinging to him, half-transparent, and the soaked denim of his jeans is uncomfortably thick and heavy. he ignores it, glancing idly over at the other Light.] Hey. Haven't seen you in a while.

*looks over at reprism at the sound of his voice*

oh. other me. hey.

Yeah. Been able to for a while now. How are things with you?

not invisible anymore. *tiny smile* and i'm managing to avoid getting punched, so. you?

i've just been looking for mimi. you haven't seen him, have you?

[spotting Mello, Light hesitates for a moment, then saunters over, index fingers hooked into the beltloops of his jeans.] Black and blue don't suit you very well.

Well you're trendy insofar as the black-and-blue is now a minor trend among the Mellos thanks to you. But it's a horrible one.

*Mel peeks in first without stepping through the door - she doesn't remotely expect a real exit, but wants to be sure. The minute the room morphs, she grins, and looks up at the sky.*

Awesome, rain! ...Oh, hey. You're Mihael's Light, yes?

yeah, that's me. *tiny smile* mel, right? you told me to eat more when we were invisible.

Yep, I'm Mel. Are you guys doing better now?

*Looks out over the city.* I wish it were a thunderstorm...

i think so. *nods* we're not invisible anymore. *frowns* he got in a fight with that other mello, though. i think ... i think it was bad.

*also looks out on the skyline* yeah, that would be nice. though maybe not smart to be out in ... threat of electrocution and all. still ... nice to be outside, for once.
