L was drunk.
It had started out innocently enough. Well, as innocently as anything involving Light could be. Just add a bit of this to his ice cream, Light had requested, smiling charmingly at the waitress. It’s his birthday. It’d be an easy enough way to loosen the famous detective’s tongue; perhaps he’d learn something valuable. At the very least it would win him the advantage in the conversation ( ... )

He burst into his room to find L balancing on his shoulders on the floor, looking dazed.
“Light,” he said, blinking owlishly up at him, “your room doesn’t work. Did you Kira the gravity in here?”
Light resisted the urge to kick him, and instead hoisted him up by his shirt, back onto the bed. For a moment they were eye-to-eye, and Light stared at him, trying to figure out how this had gone so ridiculously wrong. L blinked at him - focused - and leaned forward to lick his cheek.
“Eugh!” Light stumbled backwards and into his desk, rubbing viciously at his face. “What the hell,” he hissed. “You - you licked me!”
“You taste like sunshine,” L announced, his voice muffled from where he’d collapsed into Light’s chest.
This simply wasn’t right. He was Light Yagami - an important person even without the apotheosing. He wasn’t someone you could just go around tasting. “Look - Watari’ll be here to ( ... )

This time he was cut off by a much more enthusiastic assault, sending both of them reeling backwards on the bed. Once again Light found himself completely taken aback, and could do little more than stare at the man above him as he attacked his mouth. Still-wet hair tickled his forehead and dripped into his eyes.
He came back to his senses as he felt a tongue that wasn’t his own swipe over his lower lip. Licking again - that was it. “Okay - get off!” Light managed to pry the detective off of him (he was surprisingly spry for his emaciated frame and current condition) and dumped him back onto the bed as he stepped away. I just about lost it at L's first comment about Light's tie. I love how annoyed Light was but still made sure to take care of him.... and also the sort of unspoken, knowing thing at the end, when Light seemed more calm/amused by the "exercise" suggestion than disgusted... it was like, "yeah, I know, I... theoretically.... no, just no."
I wrote a drunk!L fic once too (Light was drunk too), and I couldn't bring myself to write sex in it either!! (It's on y!gallery if you have an account, it's called Anticlimactic... for that very reason XD) I didn't think I should post it as a response though, since I'd written it a little while back, and I don't think my L was quite weird enough for the request... haha. I'm so glad this got filled; this is absolutely hysterical. <3
