It's political season, so you really can expect it to creep into everything. It's okay. You're normal. By my standards, anyway. ;-)
And let's face it, the GOP has appeared very reluctant to put SP out there where she might be expected to actually (gasp) answer questions or deviate in any way from the oh-so-carefully-written script they wish to substitute for actual discourse. It's as if they honestly don't expect the average American to figure out that they're hiding something...
Really? To me, that's just a normal level of cynicism anymore. Sad, that. I used to have a much better view of my fellow human beings, and a sunnier outlook on life. Of course, I was completely delusional in those days...
