I hate people like that. Just sayin'. Your parents are great people for taking him in.

Well, it remains to be seen how this will all play out. My step-mother won't turn the dog out if she can help it, but she may try to find a no-kill shelter. I know that my father would really love to have a dog, though he hasn't had one since childhood (he's 78 now). He'll respect my step-mother's fear, though.

Well, either way - they could have just sent him to the pound, OR chased him off. Too bad they didn't get the guy's license plate. They could have turned him into the police. I'm just soft-hearted where animals, children and the elderly are concerned.
