Ето потому что вся русская анимация в данный момент - дермо, никто это не смотрит и не покупает. Люди не дураки, если японскую анимацию покупают, уроды из Русских мултипликац. компаний пересрались, что вообше никто смотреть их гавно не будет и напечатали типичную совдеповскую статейку, о том как все вредно нашему русскому человеку. Как я их за это ненавижу.

Seems possible, but it could just be paranoid nutjobs. There's plenty of that sort in the US: just look at Jack Thompson and his ilk. Wouldn't be the first time something foreign was labeled 'evil' just because of its alienness.

I like old russian cartoons (largely because I was brought up on them, of course), but I haven't seen/heard anything recent coming from there. Of course, I haven't looked, but it doesn't seem like russian media really compares to the media here or in (let's say) India as far as power goes. If anything, other countries are pissed off at russia for turning a blind eye to copyright violations.
