Wow, I'm actually kinda sad for Merlin and Merlyn.
In a good way of course!
The interacting between those two was fascinating. So engaging to read the dynamic. Though I wonder what it says about me that I love Merlin with himself?

All the references to traditional witchcraft is cool. Especially since it ended with Merlin gaining a familiar.

Poor Arthur indeed. He must be so utterly confused. But strangely flexible about the situation. Makes me wonder what kind of magic antics he saw with the 2 years living with Merlin.

Thank you do much, Di. I really, really enjoyed reading this!
Merry Christmas to you too! ♥ ♥ ♥

I just can't help but get emotionally invested in a character like Merlyn (and copy!Merlin likewise from my other story). And I felt guilty for transforming him into a cat even though it was for Arthur's sake (I of course didn't want Arthur's life to be constantly threatened with human!Merlyn around). I just wanted to continue writing the interaction between Merlin & human!Merlyn...I'm with you on finding their interactions fascinating ( ... )

That was so sad. I liked how Merlin had a 'twin' brother and that he was able to resolve it without further violence. Good job with this.

I was trying to go for a happy ending by Merlin dealing with his brother and there not being further violence as a result. I'm glad that you liked this story. Thank you for reading! I appreciate it. :)

Thank you. :) I'm glad that you found this idea interesting. Yes, I agree -- it was a challenge for them growing up what with Merlyn's condition and then what Merlin had to do with Merlyn for Arthur's sake. Thanks -- I like Kitty!Merlyn too. :)
