So I've decided on being a paramedic until I can devote 3+ years of my life to nursing school. I have all the pre-reqs already so all I have to do is start my emt classes.

I'm stoked.

they work insane shifts. 36-on, 36-off type things. some of the better firms have more humane hours. they're definately a fun bunch, though

I love EMT's. You are going to be great at it. If I wasn't a chef or in the food industry, I would be an EMT as my second choice.
