I've recapped the episode
here and underneath the cut are my fan-girl thoughts.
OMG MISHA COLLINS IS BACK AS CASTIEL & THE WORLD IS RIGHT AGAIN! Okay, squee-ing over.
Sam, you're paying for sex now? Really? Just work out in front of a woman and she'll sleep with you. You proved that with that opening. Oh, the chin-ups. Oh that body.
LOVED Castiel answering Dean's call but not Sam's. Liked the "more profound bond" between Dean and Cas, though I also liked that he told Sam he didn't answer him because he didn't know why or how he was pulled out of hell. And the airquotes? Loved them!
Gore factor--Wow, amping it up there. I'm sort of glad I wasn't eating anything during that opening.
Demore Barnes returned! I sort of love Raphael just because I love Demore Barnes. But it looks like he's gone now and if Raphael returns, it'll be in a different vessel. *tear*
I'm still not liking Sam much this season. I love him, don't get me wrong, but something is majorly off about him and until I have the answers, I don't really trust him. And that whole thing at the end about how Hell tortured Dean but it didn't get to him--WHAT HAPPENED TO SAM IN HELL? And how long was he there anyway? If he was back for a year before telling Dean, did he spend a month in the pit? Less than? More than? How long was it in Hell time? Grr.. All these questions.
But THANK GOD NO CAMPBELLS THIS WEEK!
The scenes: Umm, Truth episode now please? But..Jensen's directorial debut next week! And Bobby! And Crowley! And Rufus! I cannot wait!
Oh yeah, and did anyone else know that
the Impala has an IMDB page because I definitely did not. And I love it.
