I first ran across Victor Wooten via a friend & coworker, Kevin, at Texas A&M. He's the same guy who introduced me to Blues Traveler, Widespread Panic, and Rusted Root, Harman Kardon, good home theater, Desperado, From Dusk Till Dawn, etc, etc. I got a copy of one of Wooten's solo albums from Kevin. Aleatha has a friend up in Boise that introduced us to Wooten. He himself is a damn good guitarist, and when he was excited about this guys' playing ability, we took notice.

We actually got to see Wooten and his band (not the Flecktones) perform at the Filmore about a year ago. Woooowwwww. His brother did an amazing performace on 6-string. I have a SHN of another concert from that tour, if you're interested (and a torrent for it).
