When I went in for my training camp physical, the doctors found a couple of tears in my left retina. Major shock! I was terrified! I still don't know how it happened and I didn't have any symptoms, but the surgeon said it had to have been a hard blow to the eye area. A few more of my teammates have come back into town and a group of us got together, had a big barbeque and went to the Titans preseason game yesterday. That was fun. Nothing much happening. We're home in Nashville. For now at least. 2 weeks until Karlis leaves for Avs training camp. I think we're both getting kinda itchy/nervous about it. *sigh* I hate goodbyes, even short-term ones.

Monday...And the magic of the weekend is over. Karlis and I never left the house except to eat out Saturday night. I think his impending move to Denver has finally caught up with him.
