thats great! You know, I will have to look into something for you, there is a club in DC called "The Black Cat" and their sorta local claim to fame is their HEAVY use of all female DJ's.... The place is owned and opporated by females, so a lot of the people who work there, from the bartenders to the promoters, are women. I will see if I can dig up their web page for ya...

i think Dave Grohl owns or owned that palce - we played there in '95, & i can attest to it being a kickin' room. very big, lots of space.

It's at the Mill Street Brews complex - the old mill building that's been converted over to studios (sound and video), and three bars. The largest performance space/bar is the one we'll be using, and it has a great soundsystem...

If you've ever heard my show, it's all dancey like that, and I'll have guest DJ's - usually one a week, I'm old school, I think the flow gets messed up with too many DJs unless they've all played together a lot.

http://www.djmuse.com - pick any of the house or techno or "mixed format" mixes - it's going to be a dance gig. :)

That's okay - right now my hair is blue. It was a between-colorings touch-up with the hairdresser, but should be back purple next time I bleach and she colors.

I'm doing this with my hairdresser now using a demi-permanent color by Paul Mitchell (they have blue, purple and pink) and when I bleach my hair, it gets really light (think a yellow-tinged white), making it a nice base for those bright colors. :)

I went to brown with purple streaks for a little bit, but then realized my "natural" was purple (the way I had it for the last two years now). I think my license picture is blue, actually, as I was going through my "experimenting with the colors" phase.

My student ID is purple, though. :)
