For my friends, first...
..thank you to everyone who's given me moral, physical or other support over the last six months or so.
Parts of it have been a joy, parts of it have sucked, and parts of it were just, well, day-to-day.
Now, I'm getting to the good stuff.
The weekly in Millbury? It's happening. Saturdays. Starting probably the 18th of February because I want a few weeks to promote online and on the street. No risk on my part, which is a relief - and all the sound is there - and it's amazing. It will also be 18+ with alcohol for those old enough to imbibe. Finally!! There was some movement on the venue's end that made it a perfect time for me to go with it.
Even bigger news - I've been asked to play a DJ showcase at Winter Music Conference for house music and female DJs. I guess I've been around long enough to be considered an innovator, and I'm so honored and excited that my longtime house friend and promoter asked me to be a part of it. I got the request today (officially) and i'm reeling at the prospect of two big things DJ-wise happening at the same time.
It couldn't have come at a better time for me.
